So I know this singer, Aurora Rose ... and she's kind of a big deal. One week from today at The Knitting Factory in NYC, you can find out just how much.

Aurora goes on at 9 p.m., but she's performing as part of the show "Welcome to the Looney Bin" featuring RephStar and the Rhyme Factory (10 p.m.) and Rebel Diaz (8 p.m.) I can't vouch for the other two beyond their MySpace pages, but the songs they have up there are pretty dope.

Tickets are only $8, so you ain't got an excuse -- support your local artists! (You know, since I can't because I live in Oneonta now ...)

Just wondering, but can I please get some visionary credit on Avril Lavigne?

She's legitimately hot now. Who knew three years ago that Avril and La Lohan would swap status on the hotness scale? Even I didn't see that one coming.

Yeah ... so I've more than realized it's been much longer than "sometime in the next few days" and I still haven't updated bcbarbershop.com. I'll post a few times here before Monday, and update the site by then. You can hack off a limb -- your choice -- if I fail to do so. I have fewer limbs than blog readers (I'm pretty sure), so that's a decent threat to work under. Pressure is AWESOME.
